Jon Hansen

A spiritual mentor, I recognized long ago that immersion in nature reveals the sacred aliveness of all life. When I first trekked into the wilderness decades ago, I was still entangled in the confusing swirl of my childhood. Fueled by an undeniable call to love my life, I embarked on vision quests into old growth forests. Attuning to the visible and invisible web of life, I discovered a profound stillness, the quiet vibrancy of my true nature. Three decades after awakening, I realized my body is a portal into that sacred aliveness. I delighted in that first powerful introduction to the Realization Process a decade ago. Since then, I’ve immersed myself in this path as it offers a direct, precise approach to stabilizing as our true nature. I named my website The Remembering Room to honor the shared space I hold with clients to recognize and express their deepest embodied knowing.

Even though I’ve taught the Realization Process for several years now, I remain humbled by the power of this profound work to transform lives. Clients often come to me suffering from a lack of self-trust, self-love, and self-worth. Opening together in fundamental consciousness begins the process of restoring trust. We experience wholeness pervading both of us. It is the sacred nature of our connection that allows us to experience love disentangled from confusion, shame, and fear. In this intimate space, we can gently meet and gradually release the bindings that separate us from our authentic self. Over time, as we sit together, we attune more and more deeply to fundamental consciousness, which allows unresolved issues from our life to be recognized, experienced, and released. In this process, we come to realize the essential goodness of our true nature. Joy, steadiness, and an ease of being spontaneously emerge.

Clients tell me I offer an open, generous heart; I provide warmth, safety and steadiness; I listen deeply; I track intricate threads; I express a loving, grounded and wise presence; and I hold and reflect back to others a clear, palpable sense of their wholeness. I’ve worked globally with individuals, couples and groups in person, in Portland, Oregon, and via phone, Zoom and Skype for over fifteen years. In addition to ongoing one-on-one meetings and Realization Process groups, I’m currently offering RP teacher training and RP Men’s groups as well as RP Relationships and RP in Nature workshops. As an explorer and teacher at heart, I invite you to realize the gifts of true being and live your realization.
